Retail in USA
The U.S. economy has shown signs of modest recovery.
There is growth but not the kind that has followed previous recessions. Despite the rather high level of the unemployment US consumer spending has been rising. Encouraged by the small signs of recovery that the economy has shown in the last period consumers have turned their attention for goods and services.
However due to the credit market weakness that has transferred itself into other areas of the economy consumers seem remain prudent.
